Police, Fire, and Ambulance

The City of Mexico Beach provides a Fire Rescue Department utilizing full and part-time paid firefighters. Our trained staff operates multiple fire engines, watercraft and beach rescue vehicles. We are serviced by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office with a dedicated staff and offices in our City Hall.

The Bay County Sheriff Department is a full service Department and can handle any call that is received. We answer calls ranging from dogs on the beach to felonies. Police Officers are on duty and patrolling 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to keep our beloved community safe.

Fire Rescue

Mexico Beach Fire Rescue is a combination fire department utilizing volunteer and career firefighters. Mexico Beach operates two fire engines, a personal watercraft and a UTV for beach responses. Mexico Beach Fire Rescue responds to all fires, medical emergencies, water rescues, vehicle accidents and any other needs of the city. It is staffed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
