How Do I

Public Parks & Venues

Our city offers a number of public parks provided beach access, a public boat ramp, playgrounds, pickle ball and basketball courts, walking trails, exercise equipment and more. In fact, many of our parks are completely redesigned and brand new after suffering damage from Hurricane Michael, in 2018.

Municipal Park

Municipal Park, located in the center of town (201 Paradise Path), offers a playground, pickleball/tennis/basketball courts, picnic areas and restroom facilities.

Boat Canal

Our canal provides residents and visitors great fishing opportunities as well as a safe and efficient way to access the Gulf.  Boat slips are available for short and long term rental. For any questions or concerns, contact Mexico Beach Harbor Master at 850-527-7147.

Canal Park

Located at the end of Canal Pkwy. on the Gulf, this park offers a picnic pavilion as well as restroom facilities.  It provides a great place to start and end a day at the beach or fishing in the canal.

Boat Ramp

Our boat ramp (109 44th St.) is available for daily visitor use as well as annual resident use.  The fee is $25 per day or $200 for an annual pass. There is no charge for property owners and residents, but an annual pass decal is required. Both day and annual passes are available at City Hall or at the 24-hour kiosk at the boat ramp.

Public Pier - Closed Until Further Notice

The City Pier (120 S 37th St.) offered areas for fishing and places to just sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Hurricane Michael unfortunately destroyed our pier.  We are currently working with FEMA to rebuild.

Sunset Park

Sunset Park is located right on the beach (1813 Highway 98) and offers picnic areas, plenty of parking and the beast sunset views on the beach. Restrooms facilities are also available.

Parker Park

Named for one of our founding families, Parker Park (2500 Highway 98) provides restrooms, a playground, and a stage.  Many of our events including our annual Christmas tree lighting as well as regular events year-round such as the farmers’ market are held at this park near the center of town.

Under the Palms Park

Under the Palms Park (300-340 7th St.) includes a walking path, exercise equipment, a covered picnic pavilion with BBQ grills and a playground.
